什么是合成钻石？太奇妙了！

合成钻石是通过科学方法生产出的人造钻石，而非在地质变化过程中所形成的天然钻石。合成钻石与天然钻石在化学成分、晶体结构、光学特性和物理特性方面没有区别。大多数合成钻石根据其合成技术的不同， 可被归为HPHT（高温高压）钻石或CVD（化学气相沉积） 钻石两大类。HPHT钻石和CVD钻石与天然钻石几乎完全相同，其在原子结构层面的差异，只有由专业鉴定师在宝石鉴定实验室里才能识别出来。
尽管合成钻石在目前的珠宝市场中所占比例很低，其发展趋势却不容忽视，并且鉴定难度越来越高。美国宝石学院在这一颇具挑战的领域始终位居前沿，不过合成钻石正在逐渐蚕食天然钻石市场。
